  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked macaroni, 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, ketchup, milk, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  3. Mix until well combined and transfer to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  4. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until cooked through and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
